Who is Jesus?
Jesus, as described in the Bible, proclaimed himself as the exclusive path to God, being fully man and fully God. Jesus is the embodiment of God's love, who sacrificed himself to redeem humanity from sin and offer eternal life to those who believe in him. The Book of Romans says that we have all sinned and that no one is righteous, and that from sin comes death and eternal pain. However, Jesus took on that death and punishment in our stead and was raised from the dead.
How can I be saved?
According to John 14:12, believers in Jesus are promised to do even greater works than he did, empowered by the Holy Spirit. Jesus instructed his disciples to wait in Jerusalem until they received this Power, which occurred on the Day of Pentecost, as described in Acts 2:1-4. From then on, the disciples preached with signs and wonders, as Jesus commanded. This same empowerment through the Holy Spirit is available to all believers who ask for it.
